It’s was quiet hard to figure when did “Ishqk In Paris” hit the screens and when was it taken down. Though the movie didn’t live up to any Preity Zinta’s hopes or the viewer’s hopes at all, it did had something honest to look forward too, a song dedicated to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan sung by Rahat composed by Sajid-Wajid (Sajid is himself a die-hard NFAK fan) and written by Kausar Munir. We all know and love Malkit Singh for the songs “Gur Nalo Ishq Mita”, “Tootak Tootak Tootiyan”, “Kurri Garam Jayee”, “Dekh li vilyait”, as well as “Chal Hun,” and “Jind Mahi” from the blockbuster Bend It Like Beckham film soundtrack.

Malkit Sing was obsessed with NFAK from late 80’s but could never get a chance to see the man himself. He kept asking people around him so make it possible as soon as possible, and the big day came as a surprise.
